MAZ is looking for Participants of All Ages for an Artwork by Tino Sehgal
MAZ – Museo de Arte de Zapopan is seeking participants to take part in an artwork by Tino Sehgal. We are looking for individuals of all ages who are playful, sensitive, and enjoy engaging in conversations about everyday life. Experience in singing, dance, or sports is helpful but not required.
About the Exhibition
MAZ is a public contemporary art museum located in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area. In 2026, MAZ will present a new work by artist Tino Sehgal—complementing the pieces already on view since November 2025 at EstaciónMAZ.
Sehgal creates immaterial works that prioritize human interaction over material objects. His “constructed situations” rely on voice, movement, behavior, and language. This is the first time Sehgal’s work is presented in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Period
The work will be on view at EstaciónMAZ from January 28, 2026 to March 1, 2026.
Both rehearsals and working sessions are paid. Rehearsals will begin on January 8. Working hours are flexible and will be scheduled according to the availability of each interpreter.
