Some of our exhibitions have a QR code so you can download our available audio guides and listen from your cell phone. (We suggest you bring your own headphones).

MAZ has indoor and outdoor facilities where presentations, filming and receptions can be held.

Visitor Guidelines

Access

– Entry to the museum is free every day.

– Food, drinks, and sharp objects are not allowed inside.

– All children are welcome at the MAZ!
For their safety, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 6 must always be hand-held.

– Pets are not allowed.

– Helmets, bicycles, skateboards, and roller skates are not permitted.

– No luggage or large items are allowed inside the exhibition rooms. A cloakroom service is available. Bags or bulky items larger than 10 x 14 x 24 cm  are not permitted.

– Visitors under the influence of alcohol are advised to temporarily leave the premises.

– Museum access closes at 5:30 PM to ensure visitors have enough time to explore the exhibitions before the museum closes at 6:00 PM.

On Thursdays, during our extended hours (#MAZaltashoras), access closes at 9:30 PM.

In the Galleries

– Please follow the instructions provided by custodians and security personnel during your visit to the museum.

– Visitors must maintain a minimum distance of 1 meter from the artworks on display.

– Touching the artworks compromises their preservation and the museum's mission to conserve and safeguard them.

– To help protect and care for the artworks, please avoid touching them or making gestures that could endanger them or other visitors.

– Security personnel are tasked with ensuring the integrity of the artworks on display, so we kindly ask that you address them with respect.

– If you need assistance, please inform the security staff, who will provide the necessary support.

Photography

– You are welcome to take photos without flash and strictly for personal, non-commercial use. The use of tripods, selfie sticks, or other accessories is not allowed.

– To conduct photoshoots with professional equipment, prior authorization from the MAZ is required.

– The use of drones for photographic or audiovisual recording is not permitted

Visitors and staff at MAZ / EstaciónMAZ have the right to enjoy an environment free from violence, abuse, mistreatment, or inappropriate behavior. The Museum reserves the right to ask anyone whose conduct jeopardizes the artworks, the experience of other visitors, or the integrity of the staff to leave the premises.
