Exhibition Programs
Open Studio
Estudio abierto (Open Studio) is an exhibition, reflection, and production program that allows guests artists to explore subjects pertinent to their practice and body of work.
The program seeks to show how these different processes interconnect, bringing the public closer to both the artistic and curatorial praxis performed in the museum. Estudio abierto is not a closed exhibition with a conventional endpoint: the core of the project is a work and production space, accompanied by an exhibition area that will begin with a few works, to which others will be added in situ. Visitors see not only the works themeselves but also the artistic processes that created them. It also includes an appendix, a selection of works by other artists and a bibliography that offers thematic references and invites further theoretical and historical reflection on the processes and work in progress.
