Every VICTORY is the visible outcome of an intricate web of COLLECTIVE actions, though we tend to credit it to particular encounters, strategies, or plays. No championship belongs solely to those who step onto the field. Behind each triumph lie efforts, emotions, expectations, and forms of cooperation that transcend any single individual.

ELEVEN uses this premise to explore the collective dimension of shared experience.

The installation brings together historic trophies from Club Deportivo Guadalajara [Guadalajara Sporting Club], won across different eras and contexts. More than mere commemorative objects, these pieces are understood as resonant bodies: reservoirs of social energy capable of encapsulating decades of effort, desire, celebration, and belonging.

Equipped with sensors, the installation is activated by the presence of the public. As bodies move through the space, a soundscape, built from recordings made during official matches at Estadio Akron, gradually emerges. Voices of the crowd, chants, percussion, echoes, moments of tension, and bursts of celebration unfold as layers that reach their fullest complexity only through collective participation: no single visitor can activate the entire work on their own.

ELEVEN invites us to see football as a model that emerges only when multiple presences coincide, interact, and sustain a shared condition of possibility. What kinds of reality can take shape when a community manages to act in resonance?
